This study critically engaged in the analysis of Cattle Rustling: An Evolving Threat to Human Security in Nigeria. The central theme of the argument in the study is that cattle rustling possess a great threat to human security in Nigeria. That is to say, by cattle rustling diaries and beef consumption certainly becomes altered by act of rustling by herders, insurgents, terrorist, kidnapper and bandits etc. Thus, in line with mainstream submissions in extant literature, findings in the study indicated that cattle rustling is a threat to human security in Nigeria. To address this security issues, the study gave likely submissions that the government should come out with a new dimension to national security, make our national borders more save and secured through documentation and forensic data capture of people, and commercial trade activities, and also seek a sub-regional response by cooperation of ECOWAS Member States.
