Abstract

Patient satisfaction with nursing care is a vital indicator of healthcare quality and outcomes. This review explores the multifaceted dimensions influencing patient satisfaction and their implications for nursing care. The review is grounded in the recognition that patients' perceived satisfaction directly correlates with the extent to which their healthcare expectations are met. Through an extensive review of relevant literature, this article delves into the determinants of patient satisfaction, including patients' demographics, nurses' communication skills, and facility-related factors. By identifying these factors, the paper aims to contribute to the enhancement of nursing care strategies that prioritize patient-centered communication and personalized care delivery. The review underscores the critical role of nurses in establishing rapport, empathy, and effective communication, thereby shaping patients' overall healthcare experience. The findings advocate for continuous efforts to enhance patient-centered care delivery to achieve higher levels of patient satisfaction and improved healthcare outcomes.
